Wine · Land · Community

More than a winery.
A place to belong.

Wine brings us to the table. The land gives us a reason to stay.

01 · The Project

Plant today.
Pour tomorrow.

A living estate shaped around wine, agriculture and community.

The vineyard is the starting point. Around it, we are building a Farm Club: a place to gather for the harvest, share a meal and stay connected to the seasons.

02 · The Vision

Slowness is rebellion.

Good wine takes time. So does a sense of belonging.

The work begins in the vineyard and finds its way to the table. Along the way are the people, the seasons and the small rituals that give Akar its character.

Our plans bring together regenerative agriculture, small-batch winemaking and a generous welcome.

03 · Life at Akar

The landscape
sets the rhythm.

Mountains, desert and sea set the scene for what is taking shape: vineyards, a winery, meals together and evenings by the fire.

04 · Membership

Come for the harvest.
Belong to the story.

Membership is an invitation into the life of Akar—from the first grapes of the harvest to the last glass at the table.

Harvest · 2026

A smaller harvest.
A promising beginning.

The yield was smaller. The grapes showed promise. And the first juice from the press made the season’s work feel real.

As the grapes ripened, birds became one of the season’s challenges. Protecting the fruit was part of the work, and a reminder that we share this land. The harvest was smaller than hoped, but the quality of the grapes gave us reason to be optimistic.

Getting the harvest here brought another test: the journey down from Constitución with a trailer. Between picking the fruit and beginning the wine, there was still the road to navigate.

Then came the first juice from the press. After a season of tending, waiting and solving problems, that simple sight brought an enormous sense of joy. The next chapter had begun.

Spring 2026 brought intense sunlight, which we expect to leave its mark on the vintage. We have good fruit and reason to hope for an expressive wine. Fermentation and time will tell the rest of the story.
